Ximenez 1927

A soft, intense amber sherry with a fresh aroma of ripe yellow fruit. Its rich, sweet flavor pairs beautifully with desserts and pastries, as well as dried fruit and blue-veined cheeses.

Vino Generoso

The Montilla-Moriles wine region lies north of the southern Spanish city of Malaga. For centuries, the region has been renowned for its yield of exceptionally high-quality Pedro Ximénez grapes. This grape variety is used in the production of both dry and sweet Montilla. Even the Spanish government recognizes its exceptional quality and allows the PX grapes harvested in Montilla to be sold as the much more popular DO Jerez Sherry. PX añada is made from sun-dried grapes on mats. The grape's concentration increases significantly, resulting in a very sweet dessert wine. After fermentation, the wine is aged for approximately six months in oak barrels. Robert Parker: 94 points!
