Wine from Etna

A beautiful dry white wine with a refined aroma of apple, melon, and light buttery notes. The palate is full, soft, and rounded on the start, finishing aromatically and mildly on the finish.

Mineral Sicilian wines

Owner Marco de Grazia describes his refined, minerally Sicilian wines as the Burgundy of the Mediterranean, sourced from hillside vineyards on the northern flank of Mount Etna. The altitude brings coolness and refinement to the wines.

Organic farming and the ambition to produce top quality compel Marco to use low yields to ensure the native grapes express their full potential. The first vineyards purchased from Terre Nere contain approximately 5% of various white grape varieties.

Winemakers were accustomed to adding the blend to their red wine. Marco kept it separate and made a white wine from it, with great success. The wine undergoes two fermentations: first alcoholic and then malolactic. The result is a powerful, dry white wine with a smooth flavor.
