Matile is the beautiful wine of the largest producer in Orvieto, Umbria. Cardèto produces flawless quality that is mainly sold in bulk to traders in Umbria and Tuscany who sell it under their own name. The best part of the production is bottled by Cardèto itself, such as the delicious, smooth and accessible red Matile from merlot grapes. The grapes are gently pressed and the skins fermented briefly for a delicate extraction of the colour. Made and stored exclusively in stainless steel tanks for maximum grape expression and freshness.
