Red wine from Languedoc

In the village of Cesseras in the middle of the Minervois wine region, the two Ournac brothers make a powerful concentrated red wine from the Merlot grape. Partly due to a limited yield (only 45 hl/ha) in the vineyard and the craftsmanship of Ournac, this wine not only has a lot of strength but also a smooth taste. A combination that is generally only found with the better winemakers! Because this wine is made exclusively from one grape variety, Ournac is not allowed to sell it as Minervois ac but as Vin de Pays.
