Classic DOCG

Elegant Italian red wine with a pronounced fruity aroma with nuances of herbs and a full juicy taste. Goes well with pasta or dishes with lamb or beef.

Marchi in Italy

Paolo de Marchi is considered one of the best winemakers in the world. It is faithful to the original Chianti style. For him, Chianti mainly consists of sangiovese (80%) and canaiolo. At Isole e Olena, his beautifully situated wine estate in the heart of the Chianti Classico, he mainly makes wines with grape expression.

So here no bombastic style with thick oak, but a beautiful result of low yield sangiovese sticks with an emphasis on pure and ripe fruit. A topper that is rightly named by the wine magazine Proefschrift as one of the best wines from the region (with no less than 95 out of 10 points for the 2012 harvest).

Tasted like best chianti
80% sangiovese 15% canaiolo 5% syrah; correct color natural in smell and taste beautiful balance lots of suppleness good fraîcheur.
