Franz Wehrheim is undeniably one of the new star winemakers of German viticulture. It is not without reason that the renowned wine magazine Vinum nominated him for the title 'Winzer des Jahres 2022'. According to the magazine, Franz leads the parental domain to the absolute top in Germany. Vinum considers the switch to biodynamic viticulture as an important reason for its success.

Father Karl-Heinz also sees a great future for his son and the family winery. “Compare our situation with that in Burgundy twenty years ago,” he says.
