| Top quality sparkling wine from Penedès | |
| From organic, hand-picked grapes | |
| Rich and complex thanks to 40 months of bottle maturation | |
| Sabaté i Coca is a member of the prestigious Corpinnat |
Castellroig Reserva Brut
Refined mousse, youthful and slightly spicy in aroma with nuances of anise, yellow fruit, and fennel. The palate begins fresh, juicy, and dry, finishing aromatically with a lingering mousse.
Penèdes Cava
Nine leading Cava producers have joined forces to form Corpinnat. Their approach sets them apart from giants like Freixenet and Codorníu. The sparkling wines are made in the members' own cellars using exclusively home-grown, hand-harvested, and organic grapes.
This is also the case with Sabaté i Coca, which uses the beautiful Mosset grape to create a truly fantastic sparkling white wine from traditional Xarel-lo, Macabeo, and Parellada grapes. Thanks to a full 40 months of bottle aging, this Brut Nature boasts lovely brioche notes and a wonderfully smooth finish. Think Vintage Champagne, but from Catalonia and for a fraction of the price.

Mention
De Grote Hamersma - May 2020: 8.5 | Dry of course, but emphatically ripe and pleasing
Description
Sparkling Spanish, and from the Penedès region, but the term "cava" is conspicuous by its absence on the label. Instead, it reads: Corpinnat. Derived from cor (heart) and pinnat—the original form of Penedès. Chosen as a banner by a small group of former cava producers who distance themselves from the DO Cava. They are ashamed of the quality level of many of their peers. Price tags, sometimes exceeding €3.99, damage the category's reputation. Major names like Recaredo and Gramona, among others, shed the cava "quality seal" in 2019 and now sail under the Corpinnat flag. And if you want to know who this elite is: see www.corpinnat.com. One of the prestigious fincas is Sabaté i Coca, specializing in terroir-specific wines. We are currently enjoying a vintage of Turó del Mosset Terrases del Bitlles 2014. Aromatic orange blossom, marzipan, and a touch of almond shavings. Dry, of course, but distinctly ripe and satisfying. Note: it was originally bottled as cava, but emerged as Corpinnat.

Jancis Robinson - January 2020: 16/20 points | Very ripe fruit, full of toast aromas and a rich nose
Description
Tasted blind. Very ripe fruit, full of toast aromas and a rich nose full of nuances. Complex. Quite dry, but a restrained freshness. On the palate, it keeps its very ripe fruit flavors paired with fennel and nuts (but no pastry). Well made with a tight finish.
Mention
The Wine Advocate - August 2019: 91/100 points | Very tasty flavors and a dry palate with a chalky texture
Description
The new sparkling white 2014 Mosset Brut Nature is from a zone that names the wine, a terraced part of the Bitlles River in Penedès. This is the first vintage produced. It has a very expressive nose with a notable absence of fruit and is stony, austere and mineral with some lemon peel citrus twist and some fennel. It has very tasty flavors and a dry palate with a chalky texture and a saline hint on the finish. Brilliant. This is not about the grapes, but it's produced with 65% Xarel lo, 25% Macabeu and 10% Parellada and matured with the lees in bottle for at least 48 months.
