Description

Selnia is one of the finest examples of Chilean wineries applying modern techniques under conditions truly heavenly for winemakers: abundant sunshine, abundant Andean meltwater in the vineyards, and proximity to the cool ocean.

The Frenchman Sébastien Cabaret plays with these elements and, with his European origins and experience, creates a beautiful Sauvignon Blanc from vineyards mainly from the Curicó valley.

The grapes are harvested at night and in the early morning to ensure they arrive cool in the cellar. Vinification focuses on preserving the characteristic Sauvignon freshness and aromatic intensity. The screw cap guarantees excellent shelf life after bottling and protects the wine excellently from oxygen.

Drinking at
An invigorating, crisp, dry white wine to enjoy as an aperitif or with light dishes such as fish salads, spicy chicken stir-fries, or young white-mould cheeses.

Tasting note
A youthful, intensely aromatic white wine with notes of Granny Smith, peach, melon, and green fig. Light and lively, it has a fresh flavor with green herbs in the lingering, clean finish.
