Negroamaro x Malvasia Nera

Southern Italian red wine with a full, intensive flavor and the scent of cinnamon. Possibly very slightly chilled, very suitable for cold winter evenings or at the barbecue.

From the heart of Salento

The controlled designation of origin Squinzano - named after the town of the same name - is located in the heart of Salento, between the cities of Lecce and Brindisi.

This beautiful full red wine is made from 85% negroamaro grapes and 15% malvasia nera. After alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is transferred to small casks made of Allier oak. This is considered by many winemakers to be one of the most refined woods for wine aging.

This is where the lactic acid fermentation takes place, which makes the wine rounder in taste, followed by a maturation of about six months. The result is a very accessible, round taste while retaining the characteristic freshness of the negroamaro grape.
