Cuvée Prestige Bordeaux

This red Côtes de Blaye is one of the smoothest red wines from the Bordeaux region. Thanks to the use of almost exclusively Merlot grapes, the wine is even reminiscent of a Saint-Émilion or a light Pomerol. The winemaker is Pierre Ardoin, who studied wine technique at the University of Bordeaux. One of the most important lessons taught by this Bordeaux school is the crafting of primarily supple red wines according to the latest insights. The era of harsh tannins that make the wine dry and bitter is a thing of the past for these modern winemakers.
