Castelo de Medina Rueda FB verdejo
Powerful dry white wine from Spain matured in oak with the intense scent of new oak and exotic fruit. The full flavor comes into its own with grilled shellfish or fish fried in oil.
Medina Fermentado and Barrica
For the Fermentado en Barrica of the Spanish Castelo de Medina, winemaker Sara Ramon selects the best quality verdejo from her top vineyards in Rueda. She adds a pinch of Sauvignon Blanc for extra aroma and flavor expression. The assembly then ferments and ages for six months in new, small oak barrels.
The smell? Very seductive and intense, with notes of tropical fruit, anise, vanilla and toast. The taste is also impressive: full, powerful and complex. An excellent glass to drink as it is, or to serve with grilled chicken, tuna and creamy pasta.
An absolute must for lovers of full-bodied, wood-aged white wine.
