Delicious Pinot Gris in a slim bottle
A fragrant German white wine with a seductive aroma of ripe white fruit and flowers. Powerful and full-bodied. A unique aperitif, it also pairs beautifully with sauerkraut, freshwater fish, or spicy Asian dishes.
White wine from Rheinhessen
Winemaker Stefan Winter gained experience in his younger years at two renowned German wineries, Bassermann-Jordan and Keller. According to the trade magazine Vinum, he clearly paid close attention. His wines have been impressive since the first harvest in 2000, when Stefan joined his parents' business.
His white wines are now among the best in Germany. This achievement was recognized in 2013 with his inclusion in the exclusive VDP (Association of German Fine Wineries). The chalky soil around the village of Dittelsheim provides a fine minerality and a distinctive flavor.
Winter grows organically, but not for marketing reasons. Therefore, he doesn't apply for certification. His entry-level Riesling is of exemplary quality and—considering the prices of comparable wines—a bargain!
