Tasting note Collefrisio rosé
Italian rosé from montepulciano grapes with the smell of fresh red fruit. Because of the juicy taste and full structure, this wine fits very well with fresh starters and pasta with fish.
What a great South Italian rosé! Antonio and Amedeo quickly make a name for themselves with their biologically made quality wines. The special location of the vineyards - with both a view of the Adriatic Sea in the east and the mountains of the Majella in the west - ensures an optimal climate. The alternation of hot but not too hot days and cool nights ensures the right temperature differences.
This keeps the freshness and aromas of fresh fruit. And that is the basis for delicious rosé in this case of the Montepulcian grape. This wine is also not called 'rosato' but 'cerasuolo' on the spot. Highly recommended as an aperitif and with a meal.
Flawless juicy organic wines from Italy
In contrast to the large dominant cooperatives in Abruzzo in southern Italy, the small Azienda Collefrisio uses wine-making techniques aimed at high quality and preservation of typicity. In the biologically cultivated vineyards, excellent wines are made that are among the best in the region.
Amedeo De Luca and Antonio Patricelli also possess the Italian sense of style and have recently embellished the labels. For them it is clear that not only the wine should taste good, but the packaging is just as important! Filarè is the successor to the Collefrisio Zero series.
