A crisp, dry, intensely aromatic white wine from the South of France, made from the Gros Manseng grape. Delicious as an appetizing aperitif, but also pairs well with fresh salads or asparagus.
Description
This harvest will undoubtedly go down in southwestern France as one of the best of the past decade. This is especially true for the exuberantly fragrant white wines of Gilles Baumann.
His Gros Manseng has a pure, expressive aroma and notes of pear and apricot on the palate. This wine has a long list of numerous awards.
This vintage won a gold medal at the prestigious Concours Agricole in Paris. Owner and winemaker Gilles Baumann holds a patent on producing flawless white wines.
Besides his experience, craftsmanship, and—of course—high-quality grapes, the fully climate-controlled cellar of his estate is crucial to the quality. In the always-cool cellar, Baumann keeps the wines crisp and fresh, both literally and figuratively.
