Southern France is pre-eminently the region of rosé. The latest wine in our range is the light colored and spicy rosé from Cour des Dames. Made from direct pressed Grenache grapes from vineyards located close to the coast between Montpellier and Sète. A wine that will appeal to lovers of the sophisticated "Provence" style.
Laurent Delaunay responsible for the La Cour des Dames wines comes from a family with a long history in Burgundy. After training in oenology and work experience in ao California, he settled in 1995 as an independent winemaker in France near Nuits-Saint Georges. In addition to specializing in high Burgundies, he soon concentrated on the selection of high-quality wines in the South of France.
Piquant detail: from the 2014 harvest La Tour des Dames changed to La Cour des Dames because the famous Château Latour in Bordeaux (!) Objected to the use of the old name.
