Brothers Eligio and Claudio Bonomo are the proud owners of Monte del Frá, a beautiful estate in Veneto. The name dates back to the time when a small monastery, where monks (fra) lived, stood on this hill (monte). They produce wine in both Soave and the neighboring Custoza region. The delicious dry Soave is made from indigenous grape varieties such as Garganega and Cortese. Monte del Frá is an extremely successful producer, a fact confirmed annually by medals at wine competitions and excellent press coverage. For example, they are prominently mentioned in the Gambero Rosso, the most important Italian wine guide.
