Château Cesseras La Livinière
A dark red French wine with aromas of dark fruit, spices, and oak. The flavor is full and powerful, pairing well with hare or lamb stews. It also pairs wonderfully with cheese and baguettes.
From the best winemaker in the Minervois region
Pierre-André Ournac, with his finest red wine, ranks among the top wines of the Minervois region. The vineyard, planted with 70% Syrah grapes, is located in the La Livinière Grand Cru region. This is the highest and therefore cooler part of the Minervois region and one of the very best terroirs in the Languedoc.
Though concentrated and powerful, the wine boasts ripe, soft tannins and a refined freshness on the palate. This is partly due to the cool location of the vineyard and the resulting long, even ripening of the grapes.
This exceptional red wine is aged for approximately twelve months in small, partly new, and partly used, oak barrels. This results in a seductive, restrained oak dosage. A beautiful glass for lovers of characteristic Syrah-dominated wines. Excellent southern French quality.
