Description
The Pinot Noir from the cool Elim vineyards is a personal favorite of winemaker David Nieuwoudt. Every year, he invests a significant amount of time and effort into producing the highest possible quality. The Ghost Corner Pinot Noir isn't a blockbuster with lots of alcohol and oak, but a refined and silky red wine with the finesse of a Premier Cru Burgundy. Highly recommended.
David Nieuwoudt is currently the fifth-generation owner of the beautiful Cederberg winery in the northern part of South Africa. In addition to Cederberg, David is also active in the southern, cool, ocean-side Elim region. This area is considered a rapidly emerging area for so-called cool-climate wines.
