Domaine La Tour du Bon owns a beautiful vineyard in the high-altitude northwestern part of Bandol. This appellation, situated between the Mediterranean Sea and the Provençal mountains, captures the imagination with 300 days of sunshine and a moderating sea breeze. The Mourvèdre—known as 'the king of grape varieties' in Bandol—reaches perfect ripening here, provided it is in good hands.

Owner Agnès Henry produces very elegant and refined wines on her estate—partly thanks to the relatively cool location. The rosé made from Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Cinsault grapes is a Mediterranean gem. The yield, which is very low for rosé—only 27 hectoliters per hectare—results in an irresistibly full and juicy structure.

Delicious as a quality aperitif, but also excelling as an accompaniment to summer dishes.
