Full, juicy rosé
A French rosé with a refined aroma of raspberry and light spice. The flavor is full, juicy, and balanced: delicious with shellfish, grilled fish, and poultry.
Agnès Henry and her estate
Domaine La Tour du Bon boasts a beautiful vineyard in the elevated northwestern part of Bandol. Situated between the Mediterranean Sea and the Provençal mountains, this appellation, with its 300 days of sunshine and a tempering sea breeze, truly captures the imagination. The Mourvèdre grape—known in Bandol as "the king of grape varieties"—matures perfectly here when handled with care.
Owner Agnès Henry produces very elegant and refined wines on her estate, thanks in part to its relatively cool location. The rosé, made from Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Cinsault grapes, is a Mediterranean gem. The very low yield for rosé, at just 27 hectoliters per hectare, results in an irresistibly full and juicy texture.
Delicious as a quality aperitif, but also excellent as an accompaniment to summer dishes.
