Full, juicy rosé
French rosé with the refined scent of raspberry and light herbs. The taste is full, juicy and balanced: very tasty with seafood, grilled fish and poultry.
Agnès Henry and her domain
Domaine La Tour du Bon has a beautiful vineyard in the high northwestern part of Bandol. This appellation, located between the Mediterranean Sea and the Provencal mountains, appeals to the imagination with 300 days of sun and a soothing sea breeze. The mourvèdre - called 'the king of the grape varieties' in Bandol - matures here to perfection if it is in good hands.
Owner Agnès Henry makes very elegant and refined wines on her domain - partly thanks to the relatively cool location. The rosé from Mourvèdre, Grenache and Cinsault grapes is a Mediterranean winner. The very low yield for rosé of only 27 hectoliters per hectare results in an irresistibly full and juicy structure.
Delicious as a quality aperitif, but also excellent as an accompaniment to summer dishes.
