Monte del Fra Pinot Grigio delle venezie Tosa 2024

A crisp, dry white wine with a delicate aroma of apple and citrus. The juicy flavor has a mild, fruity finish. It's an excellent aperitif, but also pairs well with less overly bold appetizers or fish and salad entrees. Drink now and keep well for up to 1.5 years after harvest.

 

Pinot Grigio is perhaps Italy's most famous white grape. Our popular Veneto estate, Monte del Frà, produces a seductive, fresh, and fruity wine from it, while also bearing the unmistakable quality signature of the Bonomo family.

The grapes for this flavorful wine are grown in Sommacampagna, just southeast of the renowned Lake Garda. After harvest, they are gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to optimally preserve the grapes' fruity aromas.

Before bottling, the wine rests for several months, partly on the yeasts for added flavor intensity. Thanks to its light, refined character, yet still with good body and flavor, this wine is versatile. Tosa is delicious as an aperitif and pairs well with fish or shellfish (starters). It also pairs well with fresh salads, chicken or veal, or mild cheeses. The ideal white wine to always have on hand!
