Umbria at its best

Matile is the beautiful wine from one of the most important producers in Orvieto, Umbria. Cardèto makes flawless quality that is mainly sold in bulk to traders in Umbria and Tuscany who sell it under their own name.

The best part of the production is bottled by Cardèto itself, such as the delicious, smooth and accessible red Matile from Merlot grapes. The grapes are gently pressed and the skins ferment briefly for a delicate extraction of the color.

Made and stored exclusively in stainless steel tanks for maximum grape expression and freshness. This is a high-quality Italian red house wine and very suitable for drinking slightly chilled.
