Cederberg Elim Ghost Corner The Bowline

White wine from South Africa with a powerful aroma of asparagus, boxwood and some tropical fruit. The taste is juicy, fresh dry and refined aromatic. Excellent with seafood, but also with rich and fresh salads.

White wine from Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon

The Bowline is a beautiful, oak-aged wine in the tradition of quality white bordeaux, such as graves and pessac-léognan. The wine is a blend of approximately equal parts sauvignon blanc and semillon. For The Bowline, winemaker David Nieuwoudt only selects perfectly ripe grapes. And you can taste that! Since the first harvest 2012, The Bowline has rightly been showered with rave reviews and awards. This makes the wine very popular internationally.

David Nieuwoudt is currently the 5th generation owner of the beautiful winery Cederberg in the northern part of South Africa. In addition to Cederberg, David is active in the southern and cool ocean-side Elim. This area is a strong emerging region when it comes to so-called cool-climate wines.
