Information
Beautiful red Bordeaux with refinement and maturity
By Vincent Dupuch, top advisor to famous Pomerols
Classic combination with grilled entrecôte or poultry

Description

The small Château Tour du Moulin is located in Fronsac, one of Bordeaux's most underrated regions. While the wines here were once rather rigid and tannic, they now produce balanced and round wines. This is thanks to winemakers like Vincent Dupuch, a respected vine expert and advisor to many top châteaux in Saint-Émilion and Pomerol.

Dupuch has more than mastered his craft at his own seven-hectare estate, located just a few kilometers from the "Gold Coast" of Bordeaux's famous Right Bank. He also possesses the skill to produce concentrated yet smooth red wine.

This requires top-quality grapes. In this case, these are Merlot (80%), Cabernet Franc (15%), and a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon. After fermentation, the wine is aged for almost two years in one-year-old barrels.

The result is a classic, high-quality red Bordeaux with beautiful, soft tannins, distinctive aromas of ripe dark fruit, and well-balanced oak. Perfect with grilled red meat, poultry, and mild cheeses. Drink well now and age well for up to ten to twelve years after the vintage. Highly recommended!
