Beautiful red wine from Piemonte

Italian red wine with a spicy aroma and nuances of spices, cherries and light oak. The taste is smooth and elegant. Excellent to combine with many antipasti and pasta bolognese.

Looking for white wine, look at our Roero Arneis

The vineyards of Francesco Carbone are located in the heart of the Roero region around the town of Canale. The wine region with its sandy and calcareous subsoil is best known for the excellent white Roero from the Arneis grape and the red Roero from the Nebbiolo grape. The latter gives a more accessible and rounder wine in this region than the Barolo, the famous wine region that lies against the Roero. Francesco makes the Regret from nebbiolo grapes that fermented for a relatively short time during fermentation. After approximately 6 months of oak maturation, the wine is already accessible in taste in the first year after bottling. Of course, the wine has the characteristic nebbiolo tannin and is therefore best served with various dishes.
