Information
Perswijn connoisseurs: "The best imported Roero Arneis"
Perswijn: "Perhaps the most idiosyncratic white grape of Piedmont"
distinctive in taste, more structure than exuberant aromas
powerful white wine; perfect meal accompaniment

Arneis, aromatic and complex

Dry white wine with a youthful and fragrant aroma of green apple and pear and floral nuances. Delicious with many cold or warm fish appetizers or rich salads.

A delicious Piedmont

Arneis is one of Piedmont's oldest white grape varieties and is best known in the Roero wine region around the town of Canale. It's precisely here, on the sandy and chalky soil, that this grape performs best. This is especially true in the hands of Francesco Monchiero, who presses the grapes ingeniously: without contact with air or oxygen. In his spotless cellar, hygiene is paramount, ensuring his wines are also flawless to the taste.

The 'azienda' is located in Canale in the heart of Roero: the region where Monchiero Carbone is among the best producers.
