Bronze medal at the Concours Général Agricole in Paris . This fresh white wine from the Colombard grape is made in the Southwest of France by Gilles Baumann. He formerly produced mainly Armagnac (distilled spirits) but has since largely and very successfully switched to making white wines. With its crisp, dry taste and expressive aroma, his Colombard is a delicious and original aperitif wine.
The Southwest of France is becoming increasingly known as a supplier of exceptional white and red wines. Regions such as Gascony, Jurançon, Madiran, and Cahors have by now earned a very good reputation among wine lovers.
