Collefrisio rosé Montepulciano
An Italian rosé made from Montepulciano grapes with aromas of fresh red fruit. Its juicy flavor and full structure make it a perfect pairing with refreshing appetizers and pasta with fish.
Southern Italian Rosato
What a fantastic Southern Italian rosé! Antonio and Amedeo are quickly gaining fame with their organically produced, high-quality wines. The vineyards' unique location—with views of both the Adriatic Sea to the east and the Majella Mountains to the west—ensures an optimal climate. The alternation of warm, but not excessively hot, days and cool nights creates just the right temperature difference.
This allows the grapes to retain their freshness and aromas of fresh fruit. And that's precisely the basis for a delicious rosé, in this case made from the Montepulciano grape. Incidentally, this wine is not called "rosato" locally, but "cerasuolo." Highly recommended as an aperitif or with a meal.
Collefrisio
Crystal clear, juicy organic wines from Italy
Unlike the large, dominant cooperatives in southern Italy's Abruzzo region, the small Azienda Collefrisio employs winemaking techniques focused on high quality and preserving typicity. The organically farmed vineyards produce excellent wines that are among the very best in the region.
Amedeo De Luca and Antonio Patricelli also possess an Italian sense of style and have recently significantly enhanced the labels. They understand that not only should the wine taste good, but the packaging is equally important! Filarè is the successor to the Collefrisio Zero series.
