Description

Bodegas San Esteban is the first cooperative of winegrowers in Rioja, founded in 1953 by sixteen progressive grape growers. Since then, this winery has remained competitive thanks to its continuous renovation of its cellar and vineyards. Bodegas San Esteban's flagship red wine is the oak-aged Crianza.

This wine is made exclusively from perfectly ripe Tempranillo grapes from vines that are on average over thirty years old. The Crianza is aged for a year in the traditional American oak used for Rioja, but also partially in French oak. This refined and elegant red wine is a true icon for this renowned Spanish wine region.
