Information

Tasting note Cantine Due Palme Levro

A smooth wine from the southern Italian region of Apulia. Bright red in color and fresh and fruity in smell. The mild taste goes well with grilled dishes, cheeses or small cold snacks.

Description

The Levro is made from negroamaro grapes, the most famous grape variety in the southern Italian wine region of Apulia. The grapes are picked when ripe, especially at night and early morning. The grapes are delivered cool in the cellar. This preserves important fruit aromas and you can taste that in this fresh, modern wine.

The wine region of Apulia is booming. In addition to the many wines with the doc or igt designation, we found this vino da tavola to be a delicious red house wine. This is bottled without wood maturation and can be drunk immediately after bottling.
