Known from the Negroamaro from Puglia

A dark red wine from Southern Italy, aged in oak, with aromas of black fruit, vanilla, and currants. Powerful yet smooth. Delicious on its own, but also pairs well with roasted meat, game, and cheese.

Reserva Cantine Due Palme

The Selvarossa is the flagship wine of Cantine Due Palme and the personal project of winemaker Angelo Maci. With the Selvarossa, Angelo aims to prove that the Salento region of the southern Italian region of Apulia produces truly top-notch wines.

His best wine has earned the highest rating in the Italian wine buyer's guide Gambero Rosso for eight years running: tre bicchieri, or three glasses. But others are also full of praise. For example, the Duemillevini wine guide awards the maximum five bunches of grapes. Of course, the taste and style are most important to you: it's rich and smooth.

The wine is made from 90% super-ripe Negroamaro grapes and supplemented with 10% Malvasia Nera. A beautiful, deep, dark color develops during the long fermentation. The wine then matures for nine months in new, small French oak barrels. Its full, rounded flavor and ripe aromas make this the perfect wine for a cold winter evening!
