Information
good Grauburgunder, competes with Pinot Gris and Pinot Grigio
Accessibly priced white from top winemaker Stefan Winter
excels in purity and freshness
Delicious aperitif wine, best tasting up to 2 years after the harvest

Delicious Pinot Gris in a sleek bottle

Fragrant German white wine with a seductive aroma of ripe white fruit and flowers. Powerful and full-bodied. An original aperitif, but also delicious with sauerkraut, freshwater fish, or spicy Asian dishes.

White wine from Rheinhessen

Winemaker Stefan Winter gained experience in his younger years at two famous German producers, Bassermann-Jordan and Keller. According to the trade magazine Vinum, he apparently paid close attention. For his wines have been convincing ever since the first vintage in 2000, when Stefan joined the family business.

His white wines are now among the best in Germany. This fact was crowned in 2013 with admission to the exclusive group of the VDP (Vereinigung Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter). The calcareous soil around the village of Dittelsheim ensures a fine minerality and a distinctive flavor.

Winter works organically but does not do so for marketing reasons. That is why he does not apply for certification. His 'entry-level' Riesling is of exemplary quality and – given the prices of comparable wines – a bargain!
