Information
Organic picpoul and muscat blend
Freshness through northern exposure of vineyard
Cool terroir in a Mediterranean climate
Original and very suitable as an aperitif wine

Full, intense, ripe Picpoul x Muscat

Deep yellow in color, it has a beautiful aroma with an intense floral and ripe fruity note. The palate is round, full, and aromatic, and finishes well-balanced with a mild acidity. An excellent dry white wine, it pairs wonderfully with many fish dishes, as well as chicken and veal.

100% Organic white wine

François Collard creates a highly original blend of Picpoul and Muscat grapes in the Costières de Nîmes vineyards. These two grape varieties are both widely grown in the South of France, but they are being combined for the first time in the Fleur d'Aubépine.

François describes his northerly-exposed vineyards as a cool terroir in a Mediterranean climate. This produces grapes with sufficient freshness for a juicy, elegant white wine. By harvesting the Muscat early, the wine remains dry, lively, and delicately aromatic.

The exuberant aroma of the muscat is a unique complement to the picpoul. This southern French regional specialty has a more subdued, mineral character and is very popular with fruits de mers.

The organic grapes ferment and mature under controlled temperatures, and no additives are used during this process. The result is a pure, original aperitif wine: full-bodied, fresh, and with a seductive aroma. It's also delicious at the table, for example, with asparagus, quiches, or even cheese fondue.
