Complex and refined dry white wine with ripe fruit notes, almonds, flowers and a hint of oak in the scent. The taste is powerful and soft, round and persistently aromatic in the aftertaste.
Description
The wines of Rémi Niero belong to the crème de la crème of the small, prestigious Condrieu region in the North Rhône. Niero's pure viogniers are characterized by an impressive richness and refined aromatic expression. The Chery terrace vineyard with 50 to 80 year old vines is a plot with a Grand Cru reputation. The superior location on a poor, granite soil south of the famous Coteaux Vernon ensures small grapes with an enormous concentration. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine matures for about 12 months in small French oak casks, 40% of which are new. This is a memorable condiment that benefits from some bottle aging, so perfect for drinking between 3 and 5 years after harvest.
