Cuvée Prestige

This red Côtes de Blaye is one of the mildest red wines from the Bordeaux region. Thanks to the almost exclusive use of Merlot grapes, the wine is even reminiscent of a Saint-Émilion or a light Pomerol. The winemaker is Pierre Ardoin, who studied winemaking at the University of Bordeaux.

One of the most important messages taught by this "Bordeaux school" is the production of primarily supple red wines according to the latest insights. The era of harsh tannins that make the wine dry and bitter is a thing of the past for these "modern" winemakers.
