For optimum complexity and balance, the duo Delaunay and Chevillot select grapes from four different areas. The high Cevennes, the plain of the Hérault, the hills in the Aude and the foothills of the Pyrenees (Limoux) provide freshness, roundness, fruit and structure.
A third of the harvest of yeast and ripened in small oak casks. The result is a seductive style of chardonnay that leaves the competition far behind.
House wines of supreme quality
The white and red wines from La Cour des Dames are selected and assembled by Laurent Delaunay, a versatile winemaker from Burgundy. The objectives for these house wines are accessibility typicity and balance. With amazing results: beautiful wines for a competitive price.
Since 2013, Laurent has been working with the Flemish Hilde Chevillot who studied œnology in France. With her first crop (2013) she is immediately successful and in this price category she makes a more than remarkable quality.
Piquant detail: from the 2014 harvest La Tour des Dames changed to La Cour des Dames because the famous Château Latour in Bordeaux (!) Objected to the use of the old name.
