Information
beautifully made juicy chardonnay with oak wood
wonderful balance between creaminess and freshness
great drink wine or with white meat and fish
best of taste up to 2 years after harvest

Well-known winery in the Languedoc

Dry juicy white wine from France with the scent of yellow fruit and a full balanced taste. Delicious as an aperitif, but also delicious with starters and not too spicy fish.

For optimal complexity and balance, the Delaunay and Chevillot duo select grapes from four different regions. The high Cevennes, the plain of the Hérault, the hills in the Aude and the foothills of the Pyrenees (Limoux) give respectively freshness, roundness, fruit and structure.

A third of the harvest ferments and matures in small oak barrels. The result is a seductive style of Chardonnay that leaves the competition far behind.

House wines of the highest quality

The white and red wines of La Cour des Dames are selected and assembled by Laurent Delaunay, a versatile winemaker of Burgundy origin. The objectives for these house wines are accessibility, typicity and balance. With astonishing results: beautiful wines for a competitive price.

Since 2013, Laurent has been working with the Flemish Hilde Chevillot who studied œnology in France. She immediately hit the bull's eye with her first harvest (2013) and produces a more than remarkable quality in this price range.

Spicy detail: the name La Tour des Dames was transferred to La Cour des Dames from the 2014 harvest because the famous Château Latour in Bordeaux (!) objected to the use of the old name.
