finesse and maturity, no unwieldy chardonnay
30% aged in oak barrels: beautiful 'brioche notes'
Terra Vitis, sustainable way of viticulture
delicious with pasta, fish, mussels, shrimps and crayfish

Tasting note L 'Arjolle Equilibre Chardonnay

Southern French white wine with an aroma of green apple butter and oak. Full powerful fresh taste. Excellent with pasta fish mussels, shrimps and crayfish.

Chardonnay can sometimes be bulky, fat and not very exciting, but the Equilibre from L'Arjolle is certainly not! This wine has the wonderful combination of ripe tones, fresh elegance and a beautiful oak touch.

The majority of the grapes (70%) ferment in stainless steel tanks and mature on the yeast cells for several months. The other part is fermented in small oak casks, followed by a barrel maturation lasting six months.

The combination of both wines produces beautiful fruit notes, with the seductive influence of the oak. Typical southern French chardonnay of excellent quality, made in finesse according to the 'agriculture raisonnée', a sustainable way of wine growing. The vineyards with approximately thirty-year-old vines are located in the village of Margon, near Pézenas and Béziers.

The three colors of Arjolle
The French are particularly proud of their three-color flag and the beautiful southern French Languedoc, where delicious 'tricolore wines' come from. White, rosé and red from Domaine de l'Arjolle are exemplary wines for this region.
