A powerful dry white wine from Italy with aromas of yellow fruit and anise. Its full, creamy flavor is particularly well-suited to delicate fish dishes or creamy pasta.
Description
Marica Bonomo from Monte del Frá is making a name for herself with her beautiful top cuvée Cà del Magro, also from Custoza: she achieved
already five times the coveted three-glass award in the most famous Italian wine guide, the Gambero Rosso.
The quality of the currently available harvest is once again very successful. Like many fine white wines, this one is at its best after about a year of bottle aging.
The Cà del Magro—made from 50% Garganega grapes, complemented by Cortese and Chardonnay—has all the hallmarks of a fine Veneto wine: refinement, maturity, and a balanced flavor structure. Absolutely top-notch.
