How different is this Southern French Revelation, sourced from vineyards near the Aude River on the southern border of the Minervois region. With ripe and juicy Cabernet and Merlot, and ample flavor length, the result of the mild Mediterranean climate is a modest yield in the vineyard and ten months of oak aging.
This Bordeaux blend has a wonderfully rounded flavor: delicious on its own but also a great accompaniment to many dishes. A perfect wine to always have on hand!
Revelation our luxury house wines
The success is due to the passion and skill of "bourguignon" Laurent Delaunay. He created a highly successful and balanced blend of over 60% super-ripe Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, a characteristic blend of many red Bordeaux.
In this price range, wine from this well-known region—with a few exceptions—is generally not very exciting. How different is this southern French revelation, sourced from vineyards near the Aude River, on the southern border of the Minervois region.
No astringent, dry wine here, but a ripe and juicy Cabernet-Merlot with plenty of length and concentration thanks to the mild Mediterranean climate and modest yields in the vineyard. The ten months of oak aging also lend it a beautifully rounded, full flavor.
The Révélation is irresistibly delicious to drink on its own, but also makes a wonderful accompaniment to many dishes. A perfect wine to always have on hand!
