How different is this Southern French Révélation, sourced from vineyards near the Aude river on the southern border of the Minervois. With ripe and juicy Cabernet and Merlot and great length of flavor; the result of the mild Mediterranean climate, a modest yield in the vineyard, and ten months of oak aging.
This Bordeaux blend has a wonderfully round flavor: lovely to drink on its own, but also a good accompaniment to many dishes. A perfect wine to always have on hand!
Revelation our luxury house wines
The success is due to the passion and skill of 'Burgundian' Laurent Delaunay. He created a highly successful and balanced assemblage of over 60% super-ripe Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, a characteristic blend for many red Bordeaux.
In this price range, however, wine from that famous region is – with a few exceptions – generally not very exciting. How different is this Southern French Révélation, sourced from vineyards near the Aude river, on the southern border of the Minervois.
No harsh, dry wine at all, but a ripe and juicy Cabernet-Merlot with great length and concentration thanks to the mild Mediterranean climate and a modest yield in the vineyard. Moreover, the ten months of oak aging impart a beautiful, round, full flavor.
The Révélation is therefore irresistibly delicious to drink on its own, but also a good accompaniment to many dishes. A perfect wine to always have on hand!
