How different is this southern French Révélation from vineyards near the river Aude on the southern border of the Minervois. With ripe and juicy cabernet and merlot and lots of flavor length; the result of the mild Mediterranean climate is a modest yield in the vineyard and ten months of oak aging.
This bordeaux blend has a wonderfully round taste: nice to drink as is, but also a good accompaniment to many dishes. A perfect wine to always have at home!
Révélation our luxurious house wines
The red Révélation has become our much sought-after luxury house wine made from cabernet and merlot grapes. The beautiful smell and taste are reminiscent of more expensive Bordeaux blends; many 'spoiled' customers have now discovered this wine.
The success is due to the passion and skill of 'bourguignon' Laurent Delaunay. He made a very successful and balanced blend of more than 60% super ripe cabernet sauvignon and 40% merlot, a characteristic blend for many red Bordeaux.
In this price range, wine from that well-known region - with a few exceptions - is usually not very exciting. How different is this southern French Révélation, coming from vineyards near the river Aude, on the southern border of the Minervois.
Not a strict, dry wine, but a ripe and juicy Cabernet-Merlot with a lot of length and concentration thanks to the mild Mediterranean climate and a modest yield in the vineyard. The ten months of oak maturation also give a nice round, full taste.
The Révélation is therefore irresistibly delicious to drink as is, but also a good accompaniment to many dishes. A perfect wine to always have at home!
