Red wine from Languedoc Roussillon

French red wine with aromas of blackberry, vanilla, and caramel. Its soft, balanced flavor makes it a delicious patio wine and also wonderful with cold appetizers.

This Merlot also comes from four corners of the world: Nîmes, Béziers, Carcassonne, and Minervois. Laurent Delaunay's primary goal was a full-bodied, supple, and thick Merlot. He achieved this with flying colors.

The short oak aging also lends a seductive vanilla and caramel note. Very appealing and versatile thanks to its smooth flavor.

The white and red wines of La Cour des Dames are selected and blended by Laurent Delaunay, a versatile winemaker originally from Burgundy. The goals for these house wines are accessibility, typicity, and balance. The results are astonishing: beautiful wines at a competitive price.

Since 2013, Laurent has been collaborating with Flemish Hilde Chevillot, who studied oenology in France. She immediately hit the mark with her first harvest (2013), producing wines of remarkable quality in this price range.
