Deliciously smooth, fresh Italian red wine with a fruity aroma and a very accessible taste. Very tasty lightly chilled with summer salads, poultry, and fish.

The Italian accompaniment to summer dishes

This fresh Bardolino, scented with red fruit, is a lovely accompaniment to a variety of summer dishes. On a warm day, this wine tastes even better slightly chilled, something that is very common in the Lake Garda area during the summer. Tourists are often served thin, light wine here.

The Bardolino from Monte del Frá, however, is on a completely different level! In 2013, this successful winery received international recognition for its fine quality. The English Decanter Magazine ranked them among the top Bardolino. Marica Bonomo, the driving force behind this winery, has an excellent feel for achieving an accessible taste without losing individuality.

For red wine, this means that the indigenous Corvina Rondinella grapes and a little Sangiovese are harvested later, and therefore riper, than was formerly customary. The result: more softness and finer fruit aromas. Nevertheless, this wine has only a modest alcohol percentage: 12.5%.
