Domaine Olivier from the South of France
Olivier Sumeire creates a series of exquisite rosé wines from his vineyards in the South of France, primarily under the Provence appellation. Recently, he added the regional wine Le Rosé de S, made from Cinsault and Grenache grapes (50%). Harvest begins early, at 4:00 a.m., and ends no later than 10:30 a.m. to ensure the grapes are harvested as cool as possible. This is essential to preserve the refined aromas that characterize this Provence-style rosé. Naturally, fermentation also takes place at a low, controlled temperature. Unlike the more expressive and candy-like rosé style, this pale pink rosé is perfectly suited to serving with refined meals.

Opzich een prima rosé mooi licht van kleur fruitig van smaak maar nasmaak is bij de eerste slok een beetje acidy daar moet je Van houden. Daar proef je overigens steeds minder van na 1 glas. Voor deze prijs zijn geld dus meer dan waard!
