A delicious Trocken Weissburgunder

Youthful, fragrant, dry white wine from Germany with the scent of ripe apples and a soft, juicy taste. Lovely as an aperitif, but also delicious with fresh salads, asparagus, and fish.

The brothers Christoph and Johannes

The talented brothers Christoph and Johannes Thörle cultivate the 19 hectares of their winery in the northern part of Rheinhessen entirely by hand. "Every vine, every grape, and every wine bears our stamp," says Christoph. "By working so intensively with the soil and the vines, we know better and better exactly what our vineyards need."

The Weissburgunder or Pinot Blanc grapes are hand-picked to achieve the best possible quality. For optimal aromatic expression, the skins are first macerated in the grape juice for 18 hours. Fermentation then begins primarily in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruity character. After fermentation, the wine rests on the lees for approximately 4 months for added depth and complexity.
