Southern Italy, and the Puglia region in particular, is currently receiving a great deal of attention for its production of original and affordable wines. Due Palme operates as a cooperative. In addition to managing its own vineyards, a large number of farmers are co-owners and supply their grapes to this fine winery. The selection process is rigorous, ensuring the production of optimal wines in every price range.

The wines have also been highly regarded in the Netherlands for years. They have won the Proefschrift Wijnconcours twice, for example, as the best house wine in the Netherlands.
