Vin blanc from the Languedoc
This surprising white Argali from top estate Puech-Haut is a brilliant marriage between southern warmth and maritime coolness. It is made from the typical southern French grape rolle (vermentino) and aromatic grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat.
White Cuvée is a blend of Vermentino, Sauvignon blanc and a little Muscat
Rolle matures perfectly in the Peuch-Haut vineyards about twenty kilometers northeast of Montpellier. But the two aromatic grape varieties are also doing well. Due to the higher location (50-150 meters above sea level) and the cooling influence of the Mediterranean Sea, the Sauvignon and Muscat retain their expressive aromas and fresh acids in this special place in the Languedoc.
Once harvested, the three grape varieties are processed separately. First of all, they are pressed immediately upon arrival. After a short stabilization to allow the solids to settle, the fermentation starts at a low temperature to preserve the fruitiness. Once fermented, the three wines are blended.
The result is a special and very tasty white wine. The white Argali combines an attractive liveliness, fragility and fresh juiciness with a soft, full-bodied taste. With its seductive notes of tropical fruit and modest alcohol, this is a white wine that you will not stop drinking! Very tasty with (Asian) dishes with fish, shellfish and shellfish, or as an aperitif.
