Domaine Richeaume is one of our leading producers in Provence. Second-generation owner Sylvain Hoesch has vineyards at the foot of Mount Saint Victoire, near the city of Aix-en-Provence. This terroir is known by connoisseurs as an absolute top location. The estate's farming practices are entirely organic, which means, among other things, that only organic fertilizers are used.

This Cuvée Columelle (named after the Roman Columella, a grape varietal researcher) is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grapes from low-yield vineyards (35 hl/ha). The wine is aged for approximately twelve months in new oak barrels and boasts enormous concentration and complexity. This is undoubtedly one of the finest wines from the South of France!

Shelf life

Drinkable from five years after harvest and can be kept for up to twelve years after harvest if desired.
