Smooth and fresh

A wonderfully smooth, fresh Italian red wine with a fruity aroma and a very accessible flavor. Slightly chilled, it pairs beautifully with summer salads, poultry, and fish.

The Italian accompaniment to summer dishes

This fresh, red-fruit-scented Bardolino is a lovely accompaniment to a variety of summer dishes. On a warm day, this wine tastes even better slightly chilled, a common summertime offering around Lake Garda. Tourists are often served a thin, light wine here.

Monte del Frá's Bardolino, however, is on a whole different level! In 2013, this successful winery received international recognition for its superb quality. Decanter Magazine ranked them among the best Bardolino wines. Marica Bonomo, the driving force behind this winery, has a keen understanding of how to achieve an accessible taste without sacrificing individuality.

For red wine, this means that the native Corvina Rondinella grapes and a little Sangiovese are harvested later and therefore riper than was once customary. The result: more softness and more beautiful fruit aromas. Nevertheless, this wine has a modest alcohol content: 12.5%.
