Montepulciano with Sangiovese

The Rosso Piceno Superiore from Tenuta De Angelis is a beloved red wine in our range. Owner Quinto Fausti has been assisted by his son Alighiero for several harvests now and produces a consistently high-quality red wine.
This is also noted by the wine jury of the leading Italian wine guide Gambero Rosso. De Angelis consistently receives excellent ratings from them. Perswijn also recently rated this red wine as excellent.
The Rosso Piceno Superiore, made from Montepulciano and Sangiovese grapes, is aged for nearly eighteen months in oak barrels after fermentation. The wine has a roundness, a seductive oaky nuance, and retains the pleasant freshness so characteristic of many Italian red wines.
