Pecorino tipical Italian
Full dry white wine from Italy with an aroma of ripe yellow fruits and light toast nuances. The taste is full and creamy. Delicious with tasty dishes with fish, but also delicious with young cheeses.
Offida DOCG
Around the towns of Castel di Lama and Offida are the beautiful high-altitude organic vineyards of Azienda De Angelis. Here Alighiero and Quinto Fausti grow, among other things, the pecorino grape, a variety native to the Marches.
The grapes are picked and pressed as cool as possible - early in the morning - after which fermentation follows quickly. This is very important for preserving fruity aromas. The result is a modern clean and strong tasting wine with a lot of originality. The smell is full and fruity and the taste is wonderfully fresh.
In 2011, Offida was awarded the highest quality category in Italy, the DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita). A special award for the efforts of the winemakers in this attractive wine region.
The Slow Wine Guide 2015 lists this pecorino as the best white wine from De Angelis, including the (€) mark for the excellent price-quality ratio. The other important wine guides in Italy (Gambero Rosso and Duemilavini) are also praised. This wine deserves your attention!
