Beautiful rosé from Mont Ventoux

French rosé with a salmon-pink hue. The aroma is zesty and fruity with light spicy nuances. The taste is full-bodied, dry, and persistent. Delicious with fresh and spicy Mediterranean dishes and light grilled dishes.

Frédéric and Lucile Delay cultivate 15 hectares of vineyard at the foot of Mont Ventoux. It features mainly older vines—up to 50 years old—which produce various wine styles. The rosé is made primarily from Grenache grapes (70%), supplemented with 20% Syrah and 10% Carignan.

The grapes are harvested very early in the morning so that they arrive cool in the wine cellar. This is an important detail that preserves the fresh grape aromas. After a short maceration with the skins, pressing follows, and the juice is fermented at a low temperature. The spiciness so typical of Rhône wines is clearly discernible and makes the wine very attractive to lovers of spicy dry rosé.
