A dry, juicy white wine from France with aromas of yellow fruit and a full, balanced flavor. Delicious as an aperitif, but also wonderful with appetizers and mildly seasoned fish.

For optimal complexity and balance, the Delaunay and Chevillot duo selects grapes from four different regions. The high-altitude Cévennes, the Hérault plain, the Aude hills, and the foothills of the Pyrenees (Limoux) provide freshness, roundness, and structure, respectively.

A third of the harvest is fermented and aged in small oak barrels. The result is a seductive style of Chardonnay that far outshines the competition.

House wines of the highest quality

The white and red wines of La Cour des Dames are selected and blended by Laurent Delaunay, a versatile winemaker originally from Burgundy. The goals for these house wines are accessibility, typicity, and balance. The results are astonishing: beautiful wines at a competitive price.

Since 2013, Laurent has been collaborating with Flemish Hilde Chevillot, who studied oenology in France. She immediately hit the mark with her first harvest (2013), producing wines of remarkable quality in this price range.

Interesting detail: the name La Tour des Dames changed to La Cour des Dames from the 2014 harvest onwards because the famous Château Latour in Bordeaux (!) objected to the use of the old name.
